Impartiality Statement
Version 1.0 · effective 1 June 2026
How AIPA keeps its certification decisions objective and free from conflicts of interest.
Our commitment
Every AIPA certification decision is based only on whether a candidate meets the published competence criteria — never on commercial, financial, or personal pressure. The value of the credential depends on this, so impartiality is non-negotiable.
How we protect it
Results are scored against a pre-set, standard-referenced pass mark; no individual can change a result outside the documented review and appeals process.
Everyone involved in writing, reviewing, or deciding declares conflicts of interest and is recused where a relationship to a candidate exists.
Independent oversight of impartiality is provided by an impartiality committee whose members do not have a financial stake in how many people pass.
Vendor neutrality
AIPA does not sell an AI model or cloud platform, so it can assess competence across every tool without favouring one. Access to certification is never conditional on membership, or on using any vendor's products.
Fairness
Certification is open regardless of nationality, gender, or background. We monitor for and act on unfair differences in outcomes between groups, and provide reasonable accommodations.
This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Where local law grants you stronger rights, those rights prevail.
