What each status means
| Status | Meaning | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Valid | Issued by AIPA and in force. | Nothing — you can rely on it. |
| Expired | Was valid, and its validity period has ended. | Ask the holder whether they have recertified. |
| Suspended | On hold while a matter is looked into. | Treat it as not in force for now. |
| Revoked | Withdrawn by AIPA. | Do not rely on it. |
| Superseded | Issued under an earlier, discontinued edition of the scheme. | It is no longer current; ask the holder for a current credential. |
No result means no credential has that ID. Check it for typos (0 and O, 1 and I); if someone presented it as theirs, report it.
